The Texas Lottery® and Space Perspective Partner to Launch New Scratch Ticket Game Promotion to Send Winners to the Edge of Space

AUSTIN, TEXAS – Dec. 06, 2023 – Today, the Texas Lottery and Space Perspective announced a partnership that will send eight people to the edge of space in a luxurious and comfortable spaceship in 2025. The Texas Lottery will be the first lottery in the world to offer flights on Space Perspective’s Spaceship Neptune as a second-chance prize. Representatives from both organizations introduced the Space Perspective Cash Adventure Promotion which is connected with the new $1,000,000 Cash Blast scratch ticket game. The announcement was made during a press conference held in conjunction with the La Fleur’s 2023 Austin Conference, a reputable lottery industry meeting being held at the AT&T Hotel & Conference Center in Austin this week.

The Space Perspective Cash Adventure Promotion consists of a series of drawings, followed by a large group trip to Florida with daily cash prizes that concludes with a drawing where four participants are selected for the journey in Spaceship Neptune. Each winner and their invited guest will have the life-changing experience of seeing Earth from the edge of space. The journey includes a $100,000 cash prize to be awarded to one lucky winner during the flight.

Starting now, Texans interested in playing for a chance to win a trip on Space Perspective’s Spaceship Neptune can purchase a $1,000,000 Cash Blast scratch ticket for $20 at Texas Lottery retailers across the state. The $1,000,000 Cash Blast scratch ticket game is like other $20 games in that it offers top prizes of $1 million that can be won on the ticket, as well as additional cash prizes ranging from $20 to $100,000.
In addition to the cash prizes available on the ticket, any non-winning $1,000,000 Cash Blast ticket can be entered into the Texas Lottery’s Luck Zone. Through a series of drawings, 75 winners and their guests will be selected to travel to the Kennedy Space Center in Florida for 4 days/3 nights for a VIP space-themed party at the Courtyard by Marriott Titusville Kennedy Space Center. The trip includes a welcome reception at the Space Bar, a Kennedy Space Center tour, a meet-and-greet with an astronaut, daily cash prize drawings and a final party at the Space Shuttle Atlantis® event venue, complete with dinner and musical entertainment. At the end of the evening, four lucky winners will be selected for the Space Perspective flight prize while another winner will be awarded a guaranteed $100,000 with a chance to win up to $1 million.
After the Florida event, the four winners and their four guests will board the Spaceship Neptune for their flight. The comfortable, luxurious, six-hour journey also includes access to Wi-Fi, enabling travelers to share their experience with family and friends back on Earth. A final drawing will occur where the four winners will have a one-in-four chance to win $100,000 during their journey to the edge of space.
